dosGetPrinter(string Info)

Returns information about the default settings of the default printer. The settings returned do not necessarily reflect the current settings in the host application's page setup and print dialogs.

Parameter :

Info : A string specifying the type of information requested. The returned type and value will depend on the value of this parameter. This parameter is case insensitive.
Possible Values For Windows And MacOS :
"Default Printer" : Returns a string containing the name of the default printer.
"Orientation" : Returns a string containing the page orientation. This can be either "Portrait" or "Landscape". Portrait represents the printout as not being rotated and being taller than wider. Landscape represents the printout as being rotated 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise and being wider than taller.
"Paper Size" : Returns a linear list of 2 floats containing the paper dimensions in inches. The first float is the width, the second float is the height. Note that this represents the paper dimensions and not the actual printable area of the paper.
"Copies" : Returns an integer containing the default number of copies of a document to print.
"Resolution" : Returns a linear list of 2 integers containing the horizontal and vertical resolution in dots per inch. The first integer is the horizontal resolution, the second integer is the vertical resolution.
Possible Values For Windows Only :
"Available Printers" : Returns a linear list of strings containing the names of all available printers.
"Paper Type" : Returns a string containing the name of the paper type. This can be "Plain Paper", "Glossy Paper", "Transparency Paper" or "Unknown Paper".

Return Values : Depends on the value of the Info parameter. If an error occurs, an empty string will be returned for the "Default Printer", "Orientation", and "Paper Types" flags. An empty list will be returned  for the "Paper Size", "Resolution", and "Available Printers" flags. A value of 0 will be returned for the "Copies" flag. In case of an error, dosGetLastError() should be called the determine the cause of the error.

Possible Returned Error Codes via dosGetLastError() :
10001 : Invalid value for parameter 1.
10027 : No default printer on system.

Remarks :

This function is not supported on MacOS X.
